Throughout life, my greatest lessons have been taught as hands-on experiences. I believe that when individuals are given a chance to implement what they have learned they perform at a greater level. With my lesson, I want to present it to my students in a way that they will be able to recall when they are given an opportunity to implement what they have learned.
I have decided to make my lesson into a game/stimulation which will be an actual similar edition to the game show known as Family Feud. Students will be assigned to teams and be asked how to ask various interview questions in the correct form or wrong form. Presenting the lesson in this format will allow the students to want to participate. Of course, I will have accommodations for those students who may need it. Those accommodations will consist of being able to pass if they can not come up with the answer and a longer wait time for the response.
Students will use prior knowledge to answer the questions throughout the course of the game. The game may act as a review for an upcoming test or quiz. This will allow students to recall the information they have learned within the lesson as well as work as a team to accomplish a set goal.
